I have these blind spot mirrors on all my cars. Yeah, they are the round mirrors you see on big trucks only a LOT smaller.
I don't have to look over my shoulder anymore or use the method described above since these mirrors provide a much wider viewing range. Just a quick glance to see if anyone is in my blind spot and then I change lanes. Another bonus is when I am backing up. I can see how close my rear tires are to the curb. You know, I have to park as far away from everyone else as I can.
Can't beat the price too compared to that electronic option.
