I am completely stressing myself out in traffic. I leave about 2 car lengths in front of me when stopping in traffic and I tap my breaks when someone is approaching from behind to alert them I am really stopped. Then If they get too close, I move up a little - if they move again I tap the breaks like 5 times before moving up a little again. 90% of the time they dont move up again. Honestly, sometimes it feels they are right up my ass but then I will put the car in reverse and my rear camera shows me that they are alot farther back than I thought.
If you haven't thought about a modulator for your rear brake lights, the idea might be right up your alley! The lights will automatically strobe on/off a few times before lighting up solid whenever you press the brake.
