Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers...he's up and around ok today so far...I tried to tell him yesterday that he was "crazy" to be working on his car in the middle of the day IN THE SUN to do something THAT CAN WAIT....but kids always think they know more than we parents do..."how did we parents EVER get to our age without knowing ANYTHING?"...lol...
As we were getting ready to leave the hospital after being there for 6 HRS, and Kevin getting 3 full bags of IV fluids, the 1st thing he says to me is that he's replacing his fuel pump today...I said "I will tie you down if I have to"...he learned NOTHING, until I showed him the paperwork with instructions that the hospital gave us when he was being discharged and had the doctor tell him he has to stay in the AC with NO SUN OR HEAT AT ALL for the next 48 hrs...
My son is such a "car enthusiast" with his Grand Prix, that he's already washed it or changed the oil at 11pm at night, in the winter, OUTSIDE, in the street in front of my house, and other such things...I also worry about hypothermia at that time of yr, and he just "laughs it off"...
That's why I am trying to let everyone know to be very careful, the car can wait, but you only get 1 life...
So, be careful out there all my Camaro "family members"....
