I'm regfering to an ss vs a gt since that's the majority of v8 sales. And let's be real a mustang with beat a camaro in a drag race 9/10 times. On the track the 1le does beat out the pp/mustang but it won't come close to the new 350 twins. IF gm can get the weight right it will be closer but the new 5.2 will still pull away.

The Camaro lost to the Mustang in straight line acceleration only and kicked its tail in every other aspect including sales.
The Zora has been rumored for some time, a respected member of Camaro5 said months ago that vendors were already sourced and we've just seen a spy photo of an mid engine mule. Strongly suggests that we will see the Zora. I also think that those spy photos were deliberately allowed to temper yesterdays Ford GT reveal.
Thumbs up to Ford on the GT350(R), GT and FPC engine
