Chevy kicked ass with the gen5 Camaro and C6 Corvette. I have no doubts that they will take it to a whole new level with the new engine and chassis platforms. The LT1, LT4 and Z06 are just the beginning.  |
As long as the camaro is held back by the vette it will always lose to the mustang in most performance tests. Now with the addition of the "GT" the z06 is about to get shredded. Chevys only hope is to bring out the mid engine vette but it will need way more then the lt4.
The 1.7 on the lt4 was a huge waste of time. They choked the engine just so it could fit in the vette. Bad idea imo.
