great memory!
I was headed home and had right of way on a two lane road. I saw the lights of the car as it came to a complete stop at her stop sign off on the right side of the road. But, as I was getting ready to pass like any other situation, the car began pulling out to make a left in front of me. I slammed on the brakes pulling hard left (thank God there was no oncoming traffic) and we met at the corners of our cars. Had I gone straight, I would have T-boned her and probably sent her to the hospital.
But, she was 16, was grounded, snuck out of the house w/out mom knowing, AND took moms Volvo. Needless to say, the hole she had already dug for herself just got about 100 feet deeper...and filled w/ _____.
Can you say, "Ouch???"
And Joe, yes. The only difference between my V6 and V8 were the model year and the drivetrain. All else was the same. Oh, and the painted roof on my V6.....and wheel size...16's vs. 17's.
