No need to be sorry I'm not saying the Corvette should have won that race if it didn't have the Z07 package. Two completely different cars for completely different purposes. I'm not surprised it got beat in a roll race. If they had done it from a dig where the hellcat, and possiby the Z06, may have had traction issues then it may have had a different outcome.
