Hello!
I recently stole...I mean ... Bought a used 13 1LS bone stock with 7500 miles.
I'm no newbie to the Pony Car world. My previous rides include:
1979 Mustang 4cyl
1993 Mustang 4 cyl 5 Speed
1994 Mustang GT 5 Speed
1995 Trans Am 'vert LT1
1983 Trans Am T-top my husband I spent 4 years restoring from the ground up
2002 Trans Am WS6
1991 Corvette (not a pony car but thought I'd include it)
2007 Mustang 6 Cyl Pony Package Premium
1991 Camaro RS t- top V8
I still have my 91 RS to drive when I need to hear the sexy V8 scream. I am loving my new daily-driven LS and find the power train to be a perfect balance of power and gas mileage. The six speed really makes this car. I can see where the auto may have a more sedate personality. As you can see I have owned a whole herd of V8, V6 and lowely 4 cylinder cars and I find my LS an absolutely thrill to drive. Of course there is no throaty V8 under the hood but the V6 LFX is an amazing piece of machinery to behold. I look forward to sharing my experiences and learning about the fifth gens here on the forums.
