Given the option between potentially losing control of my car and reducing the raccoon population by one, the raccoon becomes road pizza. Though I might pull over and see if there is enough left for dinner. JK about the dinner part, pulling over might make me late.

As far as questioning the guys driving skills, I know if I totaled out a brand new 700hp car so many people would love to have, I would fully expect to be called a db for the foreseeable future and would probably not even try to defend it. The names won't hurt near as much as what it will cost him if he did not have gap insurance. Hell, middle school girls are tougher on each other than anything said here.

As for more speculation on the driver's ignorance: if he just got it, it had very few miles. So much for break-in. I know today's engines are different, but I still waited 500 miles before I got sideways in my Camaro.
