I don't know how Fiat compares to GM with V8 reliability specifically but with cars as a whole, there is no comparison. Fiat's most reliable brand ranks lower than GM's least reliable brand.

Show that chart to the people in this forum complaining about having their Camaro for a week and it's been to the dealer for repairs. Fortunately, I have not had any major issues with my new Camaro (just the leather dash trim peeling after 6 months-5,800 miles). I have owned (4) late model Dodge's and (2) of them 6.1 SRT's which have been beat and a lot track time. No issues, only preventative maintenance. I also have friends with late model Hemi's (no issues)
Look, all manufacturers have issues, but the chance of a single person having issues based on some chart is like your chances of winning the lottery.
