Just picked her up last night. I'm happy with the color. When I went to various dealerships to look at it before, the cars were dirty and looked black until you got within 3 feet of them. Mine looks similar to the Imperial Blue Metallic.

When they called to let me know that the car arrived, they asked if I would like the dealership to detail the car or did I want to do it myself. I made the mistake of telling them to go ahead and detail it. When I arrived at the dealership, I noticed a few scuff marks on the clear coat in various areas and other areas the wax had not been taken off. I did not say anything about it, I figure that I will just wash and wax it myself.

Kinda felt bad being so picky, but one of the key fobs looked like it was dropped a few times and had a few scratches on it when they handed it over. I brought it to the dealers attention and they said that they would order me a new one.

When I got home and put her in the garage, I saw a nice 6-8 inch horizontal scratch in the windshield. That, I emailed the dealership about that. When I get home tonight, I'm going to park in the middle of the garage and take a closer look and email the dealership tomorrow about any other problems I see.

As far as the scratch on the windshield, it's noticeable, but not really deep. Can I fix this by myself and if so, what would I use? Clear coat scratches/scuffs, what could I use to get rid of those? Is opti coat or similar products worth while, or should I just wax it every few months?

Is the ss stitching on the center console standard or optional on a 2ss/rs? Mine does not have any stitching on it. To my surprise, the doors did have the ambient lighting included.

I will post some pics of the car once I get done with the project I'm on at work in a few weeks.
