It's probably heat soaking easily and getting really high IAT's thus killing tons of power. I seriously don't think that's a factory tune issue. If the IAT's are soaring a tune isn't going to fix that and if you go soft on the IAT tables then you could be looking at a hurt engine unless you use some sort of race fuel or E85.

this is exactly why im sad they went FI with the Z06. I mean I get it, its easier to meet emissions standards with it. but damn...heat soak, high oil temps...idk
