Thanks everyone for the advice and relaying relative experiences. With just over 400mi on her, we're still just enjoying the ride. I will definitely keep a close eye on who's behind me. I always watch when out in restaurants(back against the wall - watching the door) and shopping etc. It was the way I was raised. . . But following me around and especially following me to my castle... doesn't jive with me at all.
It won't go unchecked next time either.
We live in a small town 150 miles from the next town. Not really worried about theft, but not saying it couldn't happen either.
