I think I'd like to see a spinoff. I'd like to see what is happening in a different part of the country/world. The only issue I have is will it be the same thing in only a different location? There has to be enough of a change to keep it from being The Walking Dead 2.0.
I like what Star Trek did with Deep Space 9. It was a departure from the the original series and the Next Gen. There were so many different races of beings and you saw how different they were from humans and the Federation and Starfleet. DS9 didn't feel like Star Trek 2.0.
Either way I am looking forward to it.
