I dont know why everyone keeps talking about longevity of this motor. I dont think its in Ford's best(financial) interest to just stuff a motor in this car without significant R&D. This engine has been in the works for a few years now, it just was not conceived months ago.
Also, this engine surely CANNOT cost more than a Trinity engine. So, I see no reason why costs can't be kept down.
