Who in they right mind would think a tune GTI or a Honda with a k20 engine ... and other's not worth mentioning could keep up with a cheaply modded Camaro, Mustang, corvette, GT500 -etc

You don't know how bad I had to bite my lip yesterday, they made me look like a fool .... that I didn't know what I was talking about, I think I should change my class for I end up breaking somebody's neck !!!!!!!
There is a reason why they say 'no replacement for displacement'. It makes it cheap to increase power and ultimately gives you more to work with if maximum performance is the goal. High tech, highly tuned engines have little room left to work with, so improving on them gets expensive.
