I found that once I had the Stingrays or "guitars" as my wife calls 'em, and the Corvette script removed from the back of the car, I actually liked it better. I have the painted ones to replace the chrome but they are laying on the shelf awaiting application on some other item as they are not going on the Stingray. The plastic emblems & script just seemed like they "cheapened" the car. JMO
