Indeed. The ATS-V is a disgrace to all the great Cadillac muscle cars of the past. Like the ... uh ... um ...

And while it might look like a Prius or Jetta to you -that is your opinion and I can't say its wrong, I see no resemblance other than the fact that they're all cars.

Maybe they're going to up the power substantially over the LF3 in the CTS & XTS Vsport, closer to 500 than 450. Then I could see being an obvious M3 killer. But otherwise, I don't see a performance reason to go with the TTV6 over the V8. I understand more mundane & practical engineering reasons to go that route, but performance wise? A big thumping V8 with an extra 30 hp & ft-lbs of torque should trump a TTV6 in the same car.
