I could've chosen anything. So why not choose something I love? I had to cut out a bit of info because I went over the 5 minute time limit. I wasn't able to mention top fuel and funny car driver, Scott Kalitta's crash back in 2008. That was the whole reason those cars only run 1000ft. I did mention he died, but not exactly what happened. His engine blew, causing damage to the parachutes, so they didn't deploy. He hit a sand trap at over 125 mph, and eventually ran into the cement wall.
