I wanted to, but they wouldn't let me. They probably figured I'd pass out or something. I would have LIKED to have seen how they did it. My wife wanted to watch and I told the Docs it was fine by me....but, they wouldn't let her. I'm like..."dude....really now...it's not like this is an everyday deal for her to see my "parts" get worked on." They still wouldn't let her.
Regardless, I researched the doc...talked to others who got them done by the doc, and everything was fine. The anesthetic DID work...just not like I would have LIKED it to work.
It was once incision, took no more than 10 minutes to cut off and tie both tubes and sow up with two stitches. It was cake. And the benefits outweigh the day of being uncomfortable!
Really...this is the way to do it. And should you ever decide on more kiddos, you can just reattach. Now I hear THAT....is the painful and more time consuming part.
