my dad always got these older cars for his work, and they gave him like an extra 300 a month if he used his car instead of work supplied one. well one of his 'gems' was a 1983 or 1984 Pontiac Bonneville sedan which was basically a 78-84 Malibu but with different front and rear fascias and dashboard and steering wheel. and being that it was the same as the Malibu sedan the rear windows did NOT roll down, not as if they did not work, you really could NOT roll them down, they had no crank for manual opening or button for a power window opening. what you got instead was these vent windows near the back edge of the rear doors you open instead, i would love to meet the designer of that and kick him in the junk with a steel toe boot

. Well in this Bonnie, the AC did NOT work and the rear 'windows' were broken they would fall out if you tried to open them so my dad had them taped shut with scotch tape on the inside of the door. i hate, i mean i really HATED that car

. I was so glad he traded it in on a late 70s Pontiac Bonneville Safari wagon which was based on the bigger Caprice wagons. it also did not have A/C (did not come with it from the factory) but at least we could roll all the windows down as well as the one in the rear door/tail gate.
