I had mine done in 2004, and I tried everything before the surgery, shots, PT and when I could not take not being able to sleep or even reach out to touch the dash in my car and it was time and never regretted it. Now I feel how messed up my other one is from working construction and working out for 30+ years. Get it done and yes it definitely sucks for a couple of months but I had just the 3 spot entry also and 10 years and counting.
