I had partially torn rotators cuff about 2 years ago. I had it for about a about 11/2 years. I was going to physical therapy at that time. I finally went and seen a specialist. He took a cat scan nd said that I bone spurs and partially torn rotator cuff. He did some more physical therapy. That did not help so he recommended surgery. He told since it happen long and my age it may not be 100% but he did say there should be no pain when done. I had the surgery done. Their was only 3 small cuts on my shoulder. After about 6 weeks when I was bale to move my arm there are no pain but my arm movement is 95% of normal.
I am glad the i had the surgery done. I now can raise and bend my arm with no pain
