How quickly the dodge fanboys that flocked to this site to sing the praises of the Hellokitty have changed their tune. Automatic with 707hp and still not any faster than the now discontinued GT500 was...that also costs less. No one is brave enough to put it on a track with a ZL1 that also costs less. So what we have is another thread about a Hellcat, Charger this time, and OMG 707hp. I LOVE when manufacturers put out decent vehicles, and soon as Dodge does that, I will be overjoyed. I kid, I kid. The Hellcat is fine motor, just wish they would have spread some of the investment around to make it a more well-rounded performance car.
Was the 'Cuda or Road Runner a K-car? Didn't think so.
That's the difference - I don't run around starting threads echoing manufacturer's claims. This is marketing, nothing more. May or may not coincide with real-world performance. We will see what the car does in the hands of independent reviewers. If the Z06 runs 12's it will be a 12 second car despite what GM says.

Well I never flocked to this site, I'm no fanboy for any car, I have owned them all from Ford, Chevy, and Dodge. I started out on another LS forum about 13 years ago when I first put in the order for my Z28 delete option package 1SC so my glasses aren't rose colored, they see things for what they are and had GM made a 5th gen Camaro I could see out of I might have gotten my 3rd Camaro but with 3 kids now my options are limited to the Charger and Challenger since they can actually fit 3 kids int he back unlike the Mustang and Camaro. It's actually kind of funny how a large sedan and coupe are making pony car guys get so flustered and considering this is the General Automotive discussion area i don't see why so many people get upset that there are possibly better alternatives out there form someone other than GM. I would love to have a 6th gen DI 6.2 pushing around 475hp in a car i can see out of but it isn't looking like the 6th gen is going to give a better greenhouse than the 5th.
