Today Fall in the air, jewel tone blue sky, temps from mid 50s to low 70s, and foliage changing colors. This morning took both the Camaro & Riviera to Krown for annual rust treatment as dreaded dark and dirty long winter months approaching to fast. A supervisor at Krown commented that she loved the sound of my exhaust system (not stock don't you know). At Krown there is a wall of glass so you can view your auto being rust treated. Almost had to laugh when the staff opened the hood, gathered around looking at the engine and stopped spraying the rust preventive chemicals. Is it a V6, V8, what is it? All I could see is their animated discussions but could not hear what they were saying. This is a production: they drive the car in, up on a lift, spray, lift down, spray some more, move forward, wash. Funny how the guys paused looking and discussing the engine, paused and discussed the interior with the HUD. Every year when I take my Camaro V6 in for rust treatments the young guys doing the spraying stop and discuss my Summit White. My Krown location has some sweet very expensive autos daily, but the Camaro gets attention. Also funny I turn around and within an hour bring in my pearl white 1998 Riviera. Darn, those young bucks have never seen a 16 year old luxury two door Buick. Not unusual to be asked is my 16 year old Riviera a Jaguar. It does look factory new.

Managed to mark more student work today while waiting for my cars to be Krowned. All in all a very good day.
