If you have no idea what you want to do, you're better off doing something and making any amount of money, rather than going to college. College can be a double negative: not only are you spending a ton of money, but you also are not making much because you don't have alot of time to work.

Plus, there's so much fluff involved- dorm fees, meal plans, books, etc. Honestly, 90% of it can be learned just as well online. In fact, it is more efficient because you can take things at your own pace- pause lectures, take more thorough notes, etc. I'll say it over and over...college is a business. Plan and simple. Universities make a TON of money. And so do the banks when loans come due.

The economy isn't what it was 15 years ago. Going to college nowadays should not be the "expectation" it once was. It's still for some. It's not for everyone.

so true. don't waste 30 grand and 4+ years of your life. Education is great but college isn't for everyone
