Luftgekühlt at Deus Ex Machina
Lucky for me I have tons of friends involved in the automotive industry in So Cal so I happened to stumble upon a flyer posted on FB for a small Porsche air-cooled meet. I knew very little about the event, other than the location (Deus Ex Machina in Venice, CA) and that it was hosted by Patrick Long and Howie Idelson. But air-cooled Porsche's were one of my first automotive loves and thusly I will forever be a fan. So I had to make the 45 minute drive from my house and attend this event.
When I arrived I found that the event was in a very small parking lot and the streets surrounding the place were packed full of cool cars. I eventually found some parking and got to enjoy the awesome cars present. There were still a lot of very cool cars left, even though I did arrive 2 hours after the event start time due to me snoozing my alarm and failing miserably.
Nevertheless, enjoy the gallery below. You could say there were a few special cars present. There should be more events such as this coming up.
