We hired my youngest sons best friends dad to do all the drywall and tile work in our bathroom. Did a great job and was suposed to finish up while we were on vacation. Known the guy for quite awhile and gave him the garage door code. Also left him a few hundred in cash to poor some concrete at the end of our driveway. Came home nothing was done. Finally got ahold of him and he says he's sorry the wife took off with the kids and he's been on a bender ever since. ok I can see that. Told him to take a few days. Showed up one more time and did a little work and was coming back the next day. No show. Calls me one day with his new number. South Carolina area code. Arg! This morning my wife wakes me up cause she can't find her two diamond necklaces or her flat gold chain. I start looking. My parents 50th wedding anniversary gold bands are gone. A bag with my grandparents and parents silver baby spoons is gone and who knows what else. Amazingly my dads origional white gold band is still there. Now I need to call the cops, take a better look around and call insurance. What a crappy friggen morning
