I consider less than 10% difference not too far off. The Z06 definitely has the advantage but the Z/28 seems to surprise a lot of people. I'm not saying the Z/28 will beat or match the Z06 but I don't think it will be as far behind as most people would expect.

As someone else commented, the Z06 is supposed to be faster around the Nurburgring than the ZR1 that did it in 7:19.xx. I guess the 2014 Z06 at probably 7:12 - 7:15. Remember, the C6 Z06 did it in 7:20 with the same engine as the Z28 and lesser tires. The Z28 did it in 7:37.40...yeah, I know there was a wet track issue in some areas of the track and they estimated it had another 3 seconds in it on a dry track. Ten seconds on the Nurburgring is huge.
