A few things come to mind, in my opinion, regarding this ongoing debate based on the announced Corvette pricing. The Camaro in all styles including the Z/28 is a muscle car. The Corvette is a two seat sports car. The Camaro represents youth with buyers in their teens on up owning or aspiring to own one. Most Corvette drivers are 40+ and the Z06 will likely push the age average up. Two different demographics/target markets. I was at Road America this weekend with my son and there were Corvettes everywhere. It was the Z/28 that drew attention from the track workers (many came over to see it or gave thumbs up) as well as from owners of other vehicles (Nissans, Mustangs, etc). Both are great cars, the Camaro is an outstanding muscle car and the Z/28 is the track muscle of the line.
