Go to the Wikipedia page on the
6R80 and look at the list of "800 HP" Fords that get this transmission: 4-cylinder RANGERS, V6 Mustangs, Lincoln SUVs, F150s.
So, with only a
590 lb-ft rating, an
Automatic GT500 could
NOT have been made, could it? And now you know
WHY!
