That reminds me when a family of idiots t boned my first car the Malibu and of course the kids were not belted in or in car seats 2 of them had to be rushed to the hospital. the mother of them was screaming at me "YOU KILLED MY BABY!" I later had my insurance (NY insurance and i still had NY plates on the car) and they told me the $$$ in damages and hospital $$$ they took care of it. but like 3 or 4 years later (just before the cut off for lawsuits i guess) I get a letter from a lawyer saying I am being sued. it does not matter that the kids were not buckled in but that i caused the accident (i was making a u turn on a back road and he hit me doing at least 10-15 over the limit but did not get a ticket as they could not prove it
). I hate HATE idiot parents who drive around and leave their little ones in the car while driving. i SWEAR i came behind and passed a car where a 2-3 year old was sleeping on the rear window shelf between the window and the rear seat. I rolled down my window and honked to get their attention and she glanced at me and SPED UP
!
