they ran 305 drag radials for their NHRA time. I think I read some blurb about them wanting to run 275s square for handling? If that makes sense. More than likely, they just wanted owners to have two spare burnout tires on the front.

Supposedly they rolled the (front?) fenders a bit to get the stock tires to fit.
