The 69 had to go back on trailer until next week. To say it's stupid to compare stock times just makes no sense at all. That just tells me that the person that makes such a statement is just a sore looser.

Did the 70 Hemi Cuda or 65 427 Cobra suddenly become a POS once a modern ZL1, GT500 or Hellcat could outrun them? The ZL1 hasn't been king since less than a year after it was introduced. We all get that. Still a great car and even better with mods.
It's not stupid to compare stock times but in the same way there will always be a guy moded faster than you, the next MY (we hope) will be better than the last. The ZL1 was a slick piece of engineering that I hope future generations will look back on with a nod of approval. We don't have to proclaim it a loser
