Coupes were huge sellers in the 1960's. Every manufacturer had multiple coupes (and wagons). Fast forward to now and most manufacturers have one to two coupes, and a few don't have any.
The luxury market seems to be the only thing that supports multiple coupes in a lineup. Mercedes has 4 coupes (C, E, S class coupes, SLS), BMW has 4 (2, 4, 6 series, i8), Audi has 3 (A5, TT, R8).
Yes the Mustang and Camaro sells very well monthly. The Camaro sales are double the Challenger sales

This is why I couldn't see a larger than current Camaro coupe selling better. This size or slightly smaller is the sweet spot of sales.
