If all of this holds true and EA puts new release games in their vault, I'll be all over this. But as stated I can't see EA cutting their profits in reality. People are still going to buy their games, giving them your full library you WILL lose money.
I see this being similar to Games for GOLD, where they'll give us select games (older titles) The pre release play is something they've done in the past for "season ticket" holders. So that's easy, I think the big name titles will be a demo based trial though with of course the option to buy at the end.

The "Vault" I bet will have titles like Need for Speed.
