I tend to agree. The Superbird (and Daytona) were cool because of what they were, not because of how they looked. Yes, the nose & wing played a major part in defining what they were but it was a case of form following function.

Plus, unless its built by Plymouth its not really a Superbird (and likewise, there is no Trans Am without Pontiac). 9 times out of 10, when someone takes a modern production car and 'converts' it into a similar classic it looks ... off.
