That's not what I said. The STX was more than just a decal. It had no bells and whistles (like Chevy's W/T used to be). Lots of people just want a no frills pickup.

I'm not saying I am reducing the number of trims is a bad thing. I'm saying that getting rid of two of the most popular and affordable trims (STX and FX2/FX4) while keeping both of the most expensive trims (KR and Platinum) doesn't make since to me. Why not keep the STX and either the KR or Platinum? That way you have a low-priced volume leading trim and a high-end trim while still reducing the total number of trims?
