The fact that Dodge discontinued the "Core" models in the second year should be evidence enough that they failed. I have yet to see one.
Damn, why so childish and insulting?

Whelp, I'm one of them fools who's gonna drop on the R/T Scat Pack. Not you specifically, peeps in general.

-Transmission - 8 speed - the same one that goes in the BMW's. Great trans, fast, fast shifting, and makes the car much more efficient, 25 mpg freeway. First automatic car I have owned since '93.
-Shaker hood - If I gotta explain, you're a lost cause.
-Much happier with grill and especially taillights.
-Interior, yeah some of us old guys like nice interiors, I would think a guy with a Caddy would get that
-Yep, less money, $2000 less than the core - with a shaker?? YESSSS!!!
-I've wanted one for 5 years, but if I don't see (what I perceive) as a good value, I won't buy it. This hits my value button.

What makes you think the Core was discontinued? It is now, but you can't order '14's now. They are rare, partly because Dealers don't order them for the lots, they make more money on the regular SRT8. It's also easier to have an regular SRT8 to display and let people sit in. SRT's, in general, are rare. The dealer I deal with can - easily - sell every one they get. It's been 6 months since a SRT8 Grand Cherokee has shown up, and they have orders in for them.

Also, the closest Core to Detroit is 150 miles away. I was at my dealer pricing it. No rebate on the Core either, but there's $3000 on the R/T. Just to be competitive, price wise, with the '15, it needs a $2000 rebate.

Thanks, 2doorrocket, now ... more, More, MORE!!!
