I believe the difference between the 392 Rt and the SRT8 is the SRT8 gets a version of the Hellcats braking system, the electronic adjustable suspension, a much much better audio system as well as a much more refined and upscale interior.
In many ways the 392 R/T "Scat Pack" get most of the old SRT 8 technology. The new SRT gets a lot of the Hellcat technology
