Just yesterday, I took my 5 year old son for a drive to get dinner, along the way, I stopped for gas and was waiting for a pump, and as the guy at the first pump starts to get ready to leave, big-foot wannabe truck goes around me to take it, the male driver sped past the pump, quickly goes into reverse to do a 3-point turn so he can get his tank side lined up to the pump. Well, I wasn't sleeping so I still beat him to the pump. As I got out, he drove really close to the side of my car, stopped, gave me a "im going to beat your A$$ look" and said something to his buddy. I opened the pass door and told my son to close his eyes. He jumped out of his truck, I had smirk on my face and took a few steps to meet him (in my head, I wondered if a chop to the throat will bring him down quickest or should I F*^K him up good first). He must have sensed I wasn't intimated and was ready, he stopped, nod his head, and got in the truck and drove off. It could have gotten ugly there, and I would have regretted escalating the minor issue, especially with my son with me. I need to do a better job at controlling my reaction to this kind of crap that low-lifes and stupid people do.
Good for you.. nice story.. But as General George S. Patton said. "A good plan violently executed right now is far better than a perfect plan executed next week".
