I don't understand how a community of car guys who adamantly argued with Mustang guys about how IRS is superior and how GM invested in superior technology under the car can be so easily distracted by a peak horsepower number. Powerful engines are relatively easily built by Detroit, especially when it comes to big V8s. Building advanced suspensions with extensive track tuning requires going to experts. Dodge demonstrated what we can do here as garage mechanics, going fast in a straight line. I respect the straight line performance of the Hellcat, but have yet to see anything that implies it can actually race a Z/28, ZL1, or even 1LE, on a road course.
