Why not match it. If BMW can have a 4-door M3 and a 2-door M4, why Can't Chevy have a two seat sports car in the Vette and a 4 seat sports car in the Camaro? My only thought is the Vette, heck American two seat sports cars couldn't survive the lost sales. Look at the Viper, and the fact Ford has never really seen fit to produce a Corvette equivalent...hmmmmm.
