You got it Skip! Hoping for great results for you.
I am so glad I went to the service today for my uncle Dick. It was beautiful. There were no tear jerking church songs, no long winded preachers reading long winded sermons. Oh, there were a few bible verses and prayers & a few choked back tears but mostly there was a touching tribute to a very giving man who gave endlessly to anyone in need, constantly gave joy to others with his humor, creativity, craftsmanship and knowledge, served his community in both law enforcement then as a fire fighter, and was devoted to his family and creating a loving, fun and happy life for them and everyone he touched.
He was carried to his final resting place lovingly by firefighters aboard the antique fire truck he helped to restore. His daughters rode in one of his antique cars. Fire engines & law enforcement vehicles blocked all intersections saluting him, a high bucket fire truck suspended a flag over the street, firefighters ceremoniously folded & presented the flag from his coffin, the bell on the fire truck tolled for him then doves were released. Here are a few pics & a tiny video of the dove release.
