So far...
CTS-V SportWagon being considered for production, CTS-V/CTS-V Coupe still on. I'd kill for the chance to replace our Taurus wagon with a CTS-V wagon. Probably too rich for my budget though. Even a CTS wagon is out of the question for some time. Still, a man can dream...
3-series Alpha-based Cadillac ATS in development...sedan/coupe.
Given the crap we'll be getting with the XTS (see below) I do not have high hopes for this. I fear what we'll really get is something more along the lines of yet another Delta II rebadge
Cadillac XTS on Ext. EpII unveiled...said to be a "beautiful car."
OK fine it looks good, but it doesn't change the fact it isn't competitive with any luxury flagship besides the Acura RL, is little more than a rebadged Chevy, and competes primarily with Buick. This is Bad Old GM all over again.
Orlando Concept no more. Try Orlando production model. 7 passenger.
OK now this is good news. You scared me at first saying it was no more, haha. This will make a fine HHR replacement. I just hope the third row stores flat for more cargo room.
Spark = 40+ MPG.
Sounds good. It will be interesting to see how this competes with the Toyota iQ. Assuming its transmission doesn't rip your head off with each shift, it is safe to assume it is better than a Smart.
Next-gen Aveo is "impressive with large grille and assertive design."
Not sure what to make of this. It seems like lifting the bold two grill, thick center bar design from the Malibu/Traverse/Equinox, etc just doesn't translate right on smaller cars. They seem to need something daintier. Hard to tell how Chevy design language has translated given this quote. We'll see tomorrow.
Next-gen Malibu looks "hot."
Wow, two years in advance. Seems a little far off since we're not expecting it to be revolutionary.
Regal coming next year.
This is the one based off the Insignia right? Great, another Buick to cannibalize Chevy sales and marketing dollars, and possibly Cadillac sales, given their new apparent All FWD focus now.
Converj approved for production? Maybe.
Volt should have been a Cadillac from the start. The costs make much more sense this way.
More to come...
