The GT500 makes 663 without a GG tax and it has much more aggressive gears and only a 6 speed.

If they're running them hard and getting 22mpg, that's more amazing than 707 hp. I run my ZL1 somewhat hard and only get 12. That 22 can't be from running them hard...55 mph flat road with cruise control I could see.
