Depends on the comparing which trim to which. If you say challenger and camaro. That could go anywhere form a fully loaded STR8 to a manual ls V6 which is QUITE a weight difference. I dont undertand why the RT owners are getting such dramatic "certified" weight differences. Seen from 4140 with no pass and a 1/4th tank of gas to 3800... Whats up with that?
No idea. Seems like no matter how you look at it, the difference in weight between the Camaro and the Challenger is no more than the weight of a passenger or a tank of gas. The Safercar.gov site that did the crash tests actually has the Challenger 20 pounds lighter than the Camaro.

I have the V6 Challenger. The problem is the 4 speed auto which doesn't have much in first gear. Really takes off from about the 15-20mph range...and yes, it is a very nice car.
