Just thought I’d share a little story…That made my week!
Now as some of you already know…I’ve taken possession of a 2005 C6 Z51 Corvette!
I received the car early Tuesday morning and shortly after which…I needed to pick up my 5 year daughter from preschool.
So...I thought I’d surprise her and pick her up in the Vette
As we walked out of the preschool building…she saw the new Vette and ran over to it…and said
“Daddy!...is this the car from the Speed Racer movie”
My Response
“Nope….but it should be”
She agrees saying…
“Ya this car ROCKS”
As were driving home, I punch it a few times and she just screams “Faster Daddy....faster!”!!!!!....Such a daddy’s girl.
Just before we arrive home, some chump in a Mustang pulls up next to me. And my daughter looks over at the Mustang and says.
“Daddy!...Doesn’t Ricky (
My misguided 19 year old son who drives a Mustang) drive one of those
Mistakes?” (yes she call a Mustang a Mistake!!!!!!!!!!)
I almost spit my Mocha all over the dash of the Vette.
Once I regained my composure…I responded.
"Yes dear…he does drive one of those “
Mistakes” (grining ear to ear)
God….I love my little girl!!!
