Yeah, I am about to get the caseload of a coworker whose position has been eliminated so it will get pretty crazy. Oh, well, one day at a time & counting down to retirement. Visited with my dad. He was doing okay. Had a pretty good appetite but they said he would not get up this morning & didn't eat breakfast until 10:30. I think that is him reverting to his work life hours. He always worked 2nd shift.

Went to the in-laws & stuffed myself with BBQ ribs & chicken wings, German cold slaw, corn on the cob & German potato salad. Then floated/swam around the pool for over an hour before dessert of ice cream, fresh blueberries, strawberries & whipped cream (Mike had apple pie but I can't have any). And of course great German coffee with more of that whipped cream. I am stuffed & tanned, sitting in front of the garage in my zero gravity lounge chair listening to music & the fountain in perfect temperature. Life is good right now.

We had a great time watching all of The Valley fireworks shows from our upper balcony. Took some pics, but they may not be worth a darn.
