Pretty darn close. The biggest difference is the torque curve between the two. The M4 puts down more peak torque (430lb-ft vs 420lb-ft) and more torque throughout the range (forced induction). The M4 in the Car&Driver comparison was also $80,325 as tested.
Turbo motors do better with area-under-the-curve than NA or supercharged engines do.

It's why peak HP is not the best predictor of performance.
